Cate wrote, produced, and directed the comedic scripted series Tutored, and created and produced the critically acclaimed short How I Do Math. Her latest digital short, MATH BRAIN, has over 50K views and counting across all platforms. These projects have been praised by people and places like Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, Shonda Rhimes, Ms. Magazine and WhoHaha, and funded by the Harnisch Foundation.
Cate cohosts a weekly Forbes podcast called The Limit Does Not Exist, which champions interdisciplinary career paths. The podcast recently hit one million downloads on iTunes and has been featured in The Washington Post and AdWeek.
The daughter of a librarian and a child of the stage, Cate has been telling stories on paper and on her feet for three decades. She has an MFA in Acting from UCSD/La Jolla Playhouse and studied Theater and Creative Writing at Northwestern. Cate is currently a member of the Groundlings Sunday Company.
When she's not at work, you can find Cate tap dancing, jumping down an Internet rabbit hole, or heading to a coffee shop in Los Feliz with her two pups, Rosie and Shadow.
