“
A podcast for human Venn diagrams.
CONCEPT
TLDNE led the interdisciplinary conversation before the zeitgeist entered the chat. Speaking with innovative guests and sharing insights from our own nonlinear experiences, we encouraged guest to follow their intersecting passions.
scope
Acting as our show’s CCO, I led creative & marketing across all channels: content, format, and editing, creative recruitment and direction, design, PR, and messaging, from trailers and promos to taglines and the name—a dual reference to calculus and Mean Girls.
AUDIENCE
A passionate following of millennial multihyphenates, Gen Z students (and their parents), science educators, career changers, and tech enthusiasts around the globe.
TONE
TLDNE merged the humor of Call Your Girlfriend with the storytelling of How I Built This and the nerdiness of Radiolab.
“
Do you love astrophysics and ballet? Enjoy writing screenplays and code? Dream of applying your theater degree to the tech world? We believe that when it comes to pursuing your passions, you shouldn’t have to choose.
One of 10 podcasts piloted by Forbes with an original order of 12 biweekly episodes, our show quickly grew to 100+ weekly eps—moving to PodcastOne and then landing at iHeartMedia, the largest platform in the business.
Ours was the only one of the original 10 to do so.
Originally a half-joking tagline, the concept of being a human Venn diagram was enthusiastically adopted by listeners who sent us fan mail from around the globe. These are hula hoops spray-painted gold.
“As a Human Venn Diagram, I spend most of the podcast hour in a constant state of ah ha and wow moments because everything resonates so much!”

“I’m a 27-year-old architect and graphic designer in Pakistan, and I’m fully inspired by your podcast to be a Human Venn Diagram. Thank you for seeing me!”
@fizzahayat, listener
With conversations spanning industries, I rapidly learned complex topics like astrophysics, machine learning, and neuroscience to translate topics for our diverse audience. Our guests often told us that they began to think about their work in new ways after coming on our show.
